Sporting Lisbon head coach Rúben Amorim has tentatively agreed to take over at Manchester United
According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Sporting Lisbon head coach Rúben Amorim has tentatively agreed to take over at Manchester United. Romano states: “Amorim has preliminarily agreed to coach Manchester United. He is eager to join the club, embrace the project, and discuss terms. Amorim respects Sporting Lisbon, so now it depends on negotiations between the clubs, with the release clause for top clubs being around €10 million.” The 39-year-old Amorim has been in charge of Sporting Lisbon since March 2020, leading the team to win two Primeira Liga titles, one Supertaça de Portugal, and three Taça da Liga titles.
