Arsenal and Liverpool keen on Kenan Yildiz
Arsenal and Liverpool are among those looking closely at Kenan Yildiz amid suggestions that he could leave for a good enough fee in the future.
According to Caught Offside, Juventus attacker Jkenan Yildiz is on Arsenal and Liverpool’s radar ahead of future windows. The Premier League sides and many more are looking closely at the Turkish international’s situation amid suggestions that the Serie A giants could accept a large offer.
Kenan Yildiz has become one of the breakthrough stars at Juventus, first under Max Allegri, and now Thiago Motta has kept faith in the Turkish attacker. The 19-year-old Serie A attacker already has plenty of suitors from the Premier League chasing his signature, as Liverpool and Arsenal are the latest to enter the equation.
Arsenal were reportedly interested back in January, but Juventus did not want to entertain the prospect of selling him then. While their stance is largely the same, things might have changed in the background, as the Bianconeri are probably looking at the economic possibility in this market with the 19-year-old Serie A attacker.
A recent report stated Juventus will consider bids of €60-70 million for Yildiz, which does seem fair in this market. The Turin giants will register whatever money they get for the Turkish international as pure profits, considering they paid nothing to acquire him in the first place.
Aston Villa director Monchi is working hard to bring Yildiz ahead of the January window, although any move mid-season might seem unlikely. Hence, while Juventus might be open to selling him in the near future, it might not be in January, although the summer window might tell a different story.
Arsenal or Liverpool for Yildiz?
Arsenal are probably looking at Yildiz as a hybrid attacker who can equally operate with both feet and play multiple positions. Mikel Arteta would also like his goalscoring instincts in his squad, although the question here is whether the Gunners will pay what’s needed to bring the 19-year-old Serie A attacker.
Liverpool are considering different names in the market as potential replacements for Mohamed Salah in the future. While Yildiz might not be a profile match for the Egyptian, he does have the capacity to develop into a player who can replace Salah, given his versatile qualities. Hence, it’s no surprise to see either Liverpool or Arsenal showing an interest in the Juventus star.
